Cafe Bustelo coffee pop-up, Four Seasons kids cooking class, Sunset & Dine

Cuban-style espresso brand Cafe Bustelo is hosting a pop-up cafe in Los Angeles from Friday to Sunday and from Oct. 10 to 12. There will be free coffee, wi-fi, more freebies and a lineup of live acoustic bands and DJs. Complimentary coffee drinks will include espresso with or without milk, sweet iced coffee and as well as Keurig cup packs. The pop-up cafe will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Musical guests include DJ Myles Hendrik, Nancy Sanchez, DJ Ana Calderon, DJ Spider and more. 1540 N. Etiquette specialist Julie Ann Ulcickas and chef Mette Williams will lead an etiquette and cooking class at Culina at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills Oct. 11. Williams will teach the children how to make garlic knots, pizza and arancini. Students will receive a three-course lunch of Caesar salad or heirloom tomatoes and burrata, rigatoni with meatballs, seared salmon or chicken Parmesan with broccolini, and for dessert, chocolate chip cookies with gelato. Students will also be given a copy of Ulcickas’ new instructional guide to etiquette. The class is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and costs $135 per person, including tax and gratuity. The third annual Sunset & Dine food festival will take place Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Taglyan Complex near the intersection of Sunset and Vine. The event will feature food, beer, wine and a live music concert curated by Amoeba Music. Participating restaurants include Beso, Cleo, Shophouse Southeast Asian Kitchen and Village Pizzeria. Tickets are $25 at www.sunsetanddine.org/ and include food and beverages. Children 12 and younger can attend for free. Proceeds will benefit the Center at Blessed Sacrament, a nonprofit that works to end homelessness in Hollywood. 1201 Vine St., Hollywood.
