This El Segundo pizza joint has Girl Scout cookie cheesecake

You may have noticed a slight shift in the atmosphere. Maybe a little feeling of giddiness when you woke up this morning? You’re not imagining things. It’s officially Girl Scout cookie season.

To celebrate, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in El Segundo is attempting to show the masses that Girl Scout cookies plus cheesecake equals magic. The pizza joint will have chocolate mint cheesecake with Thin Mints and caramel coconut cheesecake with Samoas, also known as Caramel deLites, throughout the month of February.

The chocolate mint cheesecake features a Thin Mints crust and bits of Thin Mints mixed into the cheesecake, while the caramel coconut cheesecake includes a caramel cheesecake topped with caramel glaze and toasted coconut on top of a Caramel deLites cookie crust.

Slices of both cheesecake flavors will be available for $5 each while supplies last. And for each slice sold, the restaurant will donate $1 to the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles.
