You really want my business, McDonald’s? How about #AllDayFrenchfries

McDonald's will start serving all-day breakfast Oct. 6. But if you're a French fry lover, you'll still have to wait until 10:31 a.m. to get your fix.

McDonald’s announced it will start serving all-day breakfast Oct. 6. But what about the French fries?

After the all-day breakfast starts, customers will be able to shove hashbrowns into their Big Macs, dip their crispy chicken sandwiches in pancake syrup, and eat their Egg McMuffins with French fries — all after 10:30 a.m., the normal breakfast cutoff time.

But what about the true breakfast crowd? The loyal customers who wait in line at the drive-thru to get their sausage and egg burritos in the morning? Don’t they deserve a little culinary mash-up too?

If it’s 9 a.m. and you want a large order of French fries, you still can’t have it. And if your idea of breakfast involves chicken nuggets and a black coffee, don’t even think about it.

The dinner crowd can celebrate this fast food win for now. And McDonald’s can continue to fill its Twitter feed with gifs of floating McMuffins, pancakes and yogurt parfaits.

But if the fast food giant really wants to please everyone, we’re going to need to see some French fries, pre-morning meetings.
