Kurt Busch's suspension from NASCAR for threatening a media member is now over. The suspension bared Busch from participating in the Sprint Cup race at Pocono last weekend.

After NASCAR cleared Busch to race again, James Finch, owner of Phoenix Racing, decided to continue to allow Busch to drive his No. 51 Chevy in the Sprint Cup Series.

Phoenix Racing is a one car team operating with no sponsor and the agreement between Finch and Busch is on a handshake. Finch has made it clear that the agreement for Busch to drive is week to week. During the one race suspension Finch had David Reutimann drive the No. 51 Chevy and finished 21st.

This weekend Busch is scheduled to race in the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series races's at Michigan International Speedway.

In the Nationwide race Busch will drive the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota owned by his brother, Kyle Busch.
