The Detroit Lions have come to terms with former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jarett Dillard on a one-year deal.

The Lions were the first team that Dillard met with after becoming a free-agent and they offered him a deal shortly after the first workout.

Dillard was a fifth-round draft pick in 2009 out of Rice but has been plagued with foot injuries throughout his playing career. The  5-foot-11, 190 pound receiver caught 29 passes for 292 yards, one touchdown and started five games in the 2011 season.

The Lions will have to make a roster move to add Dillard officially to the team roster which currently has 13 wide receivers. With a roster already full of receivers Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson, Titus Young, Ryan Broyles, and Maurice Stovall, Dillard will have to earn his way onto the 53-man roster.

Dillard will participate in the Lions minicamp starting Tueday through Thursday.
