Carlos Guillen and Eric Roof had two-run doubles for Detroit.Don Kelly went 2 for 2 with a sacrifice fly.

Tigers rookie right fielder Brennan Boesch left the game in thefifth inning with a cut above his eye after getting hit by a flyball.

Phil Coke, Eddie Bonine and Enrique Gonzalez each pitched twoinnings for the Tigers.
