Convicted killer Wayne Lee Stevens is headed back to prison. This time, it's a drunk driving charge in Kent County that could keep him locked up for 2 to 20 years.

Stevens was the center of a big fight between the Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office and the Michigan Department of Corrections. He was convicted of killing Mary Ann Scharphorn in 1979, and released in 2007 for good behavior. Prosecutor Tony Tague said he was too dangerous to release. The 57-year old was arrested in Walker last July for operating while intoxicated, third offense, and was also charged as a habitual offender.
