Improving Weather for the Thanksgiving Holiday

Rain will end and skies slowly clear overnight into Wednesday morning.  There is the potential for some areas of low cloudiness and fog to form in locations that received heavier rainfall on Tuesday, especially in the counties south and east of Grand Rapids.

Anyone planning to travel for the holiday will enjoy improving weather conditions this Wednesday afternoon as skies become partly to mostly sunny with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 40s.

Even better weather is on the way for Thanksgiving Day.  It will be mostly sunny, breezy and mild across the region from Chicago through West Michigan into the Detroit area.  Afternoon temperatures will rise into the 50s with good weather-related road conditions.

Holiday Shoppers on Black Friday will be greeted with a continuation of dry, breezy and mild November weather.   Look for partly cloudy skies Friday afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 50s.  The next chance of some rain showers will hold off until Saturday.  FOX 17 wishes you safe travels and a happy Thanksgiving!
