"Always...Patsy Cline" Plays Ivoryton Playhouse

Jacqueline Petroccia plays country singer Patsy Cline in the Ivoryton Playhouse production of "Always...Patsy Cline" March 14 to April 1.

The show, which features 27 songs, follows the career of Cline, who died at the age of 30 in 1963. She would have been 80 later this year.

Some of her most famous songs are "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces," " Dreams" and "Walking After Midnight."

Also featured in the show, which is based on a true story about Cline's friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, is Laurie Dawn. John DeNicola is musical director.

Performances are Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40, $35 seniors; $20 for students; $15 children. Information: 860-767-7318 and www.ivorytonplayhouse.org.
