Doug MacGillvary of the  Manchester Land and Conservation Trust cleans a new sign board along the old abandoned Cheney Railroad line which has been converted to a  mile-long railroad bed hiking trail. The original line, called the South Manchester Railroad, ran from the Cheney Mills for 2 1/2 miles to the North Main Street depot.
