Crispin Hellion Glover (films
The two shows -- each one different -- are one-hour dramatic narrations of eight different profusely illustrated books he has written. The images from the books will be projected behind Glover during his 75-minute performance..
Books will be be available for purchase on-site, and Glover will sign them after the show.
The shows will be accompanied by screenings of two films, 2007 "It's Fine! Everything is Fine,", directed by Glover and David Brothers on Friday night and 2005's "What Is It?," directed by Glover, on Saturday.
"It's Fine! Everything is Fine" is described: "Screenwriter Steven C. Stewart stars in this semi-autobiographical, psycho-sexual tale about a man with severe cerebral
"What Is I?," in which Glover made his directorial debut and is part of the "It" film trilogy (which has "It's Fine! as its second part), is described: "Featuring a cast largely comprised of actors with Down's syndrome...the film [follows] the adventures of a young man whose principal interests are snails, salt, a pipe and how to get home while being tormented by a hubristic racist inner psyche."
Glover also appears in the film, playing the roles of "Dueling demi-God Auteur" and "the young man's inner psyche."
