GILLESPIE SAID: "There have been lots of miles and really great friends. You can meet someone and hit it off with them but there's nothing like going for a run with them. I've met a lot of people and I think it has really, really changed me and taught me to do the hard thing. You don't get anywhere unless you put in hard work and I think I've really learned to attack everything step-by-step just like running."
WILLIAMSON SAID: "People are always going to remember her name around here. I don't see how they could forget. ... She tries really hard and she really cares. I'm going to think about her times and victories, of course, but that is going to be a little further down on the list because I'm just excited to see what she is going to achieve in college and afterward in and outside the sport. I have no doubt that whatever she choses to do she will do it well and achieve her goals.”
UP NEXT: Will look to chase more records and lower her time in the mile this outdoor track season before heading to Harvard this fall, where she will run and study biology.
