The names of 35 established and emerging writers, composers and lyricists representing teams for 20 developing shows -- including the creators of "Urinetown" -- will converge on the Goodspeed campus in
The four-week residency program from Jan. 21 to Feb. 22 will focus on works-in-progress. There will be no public performances of the work they are developing.
During the residency, industry professionals will be on campus serving as mentors for the teams led by Jonathan Brielle, writer/producer in residence and vice president of the Johnny Mercer Foundation; Bob Alwine, associate producer and Donna Lynn Cooper Hilton, Line Producer for Goodspeed Musicals. Award-winning director Michael Bush will serve as dramaturg/mentor throughout the residency.
