Estelle Laschever of West Hartford, whose work is in the permanent collections of the New Britain Museum of American Art, will be showing her art at the Greater Hartford Arts Council until Jan. 30, in an exhibit entitled "Ensemble." Laschever studied at the Art Students League in New York City and holds a fine arts degree from Cornell University and a master's of art education from the University of Hartford. She teaches painting and drawing, also offering workshops in "Collage and Mixed Media" in Continuing Education at Manchester Community College. A public reception for "Ensemble" will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Greater Hartford Arts Council, 45 Pratt St. in Hartford.
