The concert will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the
Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford. Selections from Broadway transfers such as "Annie" and "Man of La Mancha" will also be feature shows the theater revived on its East Haddam stages, such as "Brigadoon," "Finian's Rainbow" and "No, No, Nanette."
Led by conductor Michael O’Flaherty, now in his 21st year as resident music director for Goodspeed Musicals, the program will feature Sarah Uriarte Berry, Quentin Earl Darrington and students from
The Hartt School Musical Theatre Department’s Class of 2013.
Berry starred as Magnolia in Goodspeed’s "Show Boat": and on Broadway on national tour of "Beauty and the Beast," "End of the Rainbow," "The Light in the Piazza" and "
Next to Normal."
Darrington was Lucas in Goodspeed’s production of "Abyssinia" and Broadway credits include "Memphis," "Ragtime" and "The Lion King.":
Tickets range in price from $20 to $%67.50. Student tickets are $10 and
$25 tickets are available for patrons age 40 and under.
