Actor John Malkovich spoke to students at Fairfield University Tuesday afternoon, prior to his evening performance of the touring music-theater event, ""The Infernal Comedy: Confessions of a Serial Killer." (That show will play the Brooklyn Academy of Music Thursday through Saturday.)
He spoke to the students at Wien Experimental Theatre as part of the Educational Forum/Pre-performance Student Workshop sponsored by Fairfield University’s Humanities Institute of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Quick Center for the Arts.
“The talk with the students was a private event. (My interview with the actor -- as well as a review of the show -- will appear later today on my blog.)
"TheQuick Center for the Arts has as its core educational mission the opportunity for university students to engage visiting artists in conversations and workshops,” said Gary Wood, Director of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts, “to not only expand the purpose of the artist’s visit, but serve to make a lasting impression on the arts pursuits of the students themselves.”
There are some pictures of the talk with the students, supplied by the Quick Center.
