( Richard Messina - The Hartford Courant ) Wilmington, DE 2-3-2004 Sen. Joseph Lieberman was up and out early Tuesday morning on this primary day in Dealware. After a red-eye flight in from Arizona, Lieberman was taped an interview for CNN, campaigned at a polling location with Delaware Sen. Tom Carper, D,, and then campaigned at the Amtrack station in Wilmington. Lieberman then went back to his Wilmington campaign headquarters and took part in two radio interviews from stations in South Carolina which also held a debate today. At right, volunteer Kiki McLean, looks on as Lieberman is taped by two network embeds as he performs an interview. |
