Lyman Orchards is an 1,100 acre farm in Middlefield. Established in 1741, it's the 12th oldest family-owned business in the United States. The orchards feature a variety of apples, peaches, pears, berries, pumpkins and more. There is a store that sells baked goods and the orchard's produce, as well as weekly family friendly activities such as pony rides, hay rides, petting zoos and more. Lyman's also features a sunflower maze in the summer and a corn maze every fall. Last year's corn maze celebrated one of Major League Baseball's most exciting rivalries between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
