And what did you do your final year at college? Oh, I played “Hamlet”.

That’s what Mark Ford can say when he takes on the role of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” at The Hartt School Thursday through Sunday in the Kent McCray Theater at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford.

Malcolm Morrison, former Hartt School Dean and university professor directs/ Incidental music is  by Hartt composition student Jesse Brown.

Also in the cast are: Tim Rizzo , Thomas Rash, Sal Zullo, Alex Saffer, Nick Giuliani, Charles South,  Jayce Johnson, Donny Gersonde , David Raposo,  Michael O’Brien, Zach Bencal, Ben Cole, Michael Baskowski , Steven Grant, Morgan Hammel , Sophia Watt, Annie Bradford, Alana Fallis, Patton Chandler, Bobby Godas, Julian Sarria, and Christian Serres.
