Michael Yeargan To Co-Lead Design At Yale School of Drama

Tony Award winning designer Michael Yeargan will be co-chairman of the design department, at the Yale School of Drama, alongside current co-chairman Stephen Strawbridge, effective July 1. Yeargan will succeed Ming Cho Lee who will continue to teach full-time in the department where he has taught since 1969 and has chaired or co-chaired the department for many years.
  Yeargan, a 1972 graduate of Yale School of Drama, where he studied with both Donald Oenslager and Ming Cho Lee and has taught since 1973, will also serve as set design advisor for Yale Repertory Theatre in addition to his current position as resident set designer.
