Anton Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard," will open Hartt's 2012-2013 theater season and will run Oct. 11 to 14 in the Kent McCray Theater, Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford. Alan Rust, theater division director, stages the production.

University Professor and Former Hartt Dean Malcolm Morrison directs Sophocles' "Antigone" Oct. 18 to 21 in the Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Foundation Theater, Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center. Original music is by Hartt composition student Evan Cogswell.
Guest artist Terry Layman returns to Hartt to direct Moss Hart's "Light Up the Sky," with original music by Hartt composition student Robert Tomasulo. The show plays Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 in the Kent McCray Theater.
