An alarming number of teens and tweens are in abusive relationships. But many can't read the early danger signals - put-downs, excessive texting and other controlling behavior - and many don't know what to do when they realize the relationship is unhealthy. Four experts from across the region will talk about what's behind the high numbers of young abusers and victims, and how to stop the violence at the upcoming Hartford Courant & FOX CT Key Issues Forum titled, "Teen Dating Violence: How to spot it. What to do about it." The forum will be held on Tuesday, February 9, from 5 - 6:15 p.m. at the University of Hartford's Wilde Auditorium. The university is located at 200 Bloomfield Avenue in West Hartford. Presented by the Hartford Courant and FOX CT, in partnership with the University of Hartford.
