I have spent all day screwing around with a cheap printer trying to make it do a simple thing, make a quality print. It's no go. I'm not going to identify the retailer or the printer because they are both quality operations. Even the best printer manufacturer makes a low-end cheap piece if junk. You get what you pay for.
Few things in the modern world are as frustrating as computer/printer/scanner/electro-trouble. My whole profession depends on solid electronic interfacing. One weak link and I'm back with Rembrandt cleaning his brushes. I need my computer bad. I need a quality printer and scanner. I've been making due with a laser scanner, but it's not the same as a good ink jet device.
