Carmine Iacobucci finishes packing some belongings into his car as he leaves his Chalker Beach home in Old Saybrook Monday morning. He rented a room at the Days Inn because it affords him a view of his house across a marsh so he can watch it as Hurricane Sandy intensifies. He paid a little extra to bring his dog Mia to the hotel. "I think it's going to be gone," he said about his house.
