The Lou Gehrig 1928 World Series home run ball is being offered by the family of the man who originally caught the ball at the game played in New York at Yankee Stadium. The ball is sold along with a period newspaper article featuring the ball and an original cabinet photo picturing the man who caught it. Now 84 years later it will be unveiled to the collecting public.
