8. Clifford Robinson, 36th overall, Portland, 1989: The Trailblazers were rewarded for seeing something in Robinson, who averaged 9.1 points and 3.8 rebounds his first of eight years with Portland. He wound up playing 18 seasons, until he was 40. The Blazers finished 59-23 in 1989-90, second in the Pacific Division, and lost in the NBA Finals to the Pistons.
