In the year 1926, Carter Woodson, a graduate of Harvard University created the idea of a 'Negro History Week' to bring forth attention about African Americans throughout Americas History.  <br> Before Woodson bought this to attention, there was barely anything written in history concerning African Americans.  Barack Obama, has created one of the largest historical feats in this world has seen - the first African American to become the President of the United States.  <br>
