The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, 600 Main St. in Hartford, hosts a five-film series from July 20 to Aug. 24 called Summer Sizzle Under the Stars. The outdoor screenings of 1930s romantic comeides are on Fridays. A la carte dinner and live, free jazz begin at 6 p.m. The movies start at 8:15 p.m. Everything will be moved indoors in case of rain. The series opens on Friday, July 20, with "It Happened One Night" (pictured), Frank Capra's 1934 story about an heiress (Claudette Colbert) and a reporter (Clark Gable). On July 27, is "My Man Godfrey." "The Awful Truth" will be shown Aug. 10. On Aug. 17, is "Easy Living." The series closes on Aug. 24 with "Bringing Up Baby."
