When UConn fans get in their seats, they can be quite loud. They usually get up for games like this. N.C. State will have a contingent in its deep red, too, but the louder the crowd, seemingly, the better the Huskies play, and that especially goes for the defense. Rentschler Field had 35,270 for UMass. It's a 40,000-seat stadium that rocks when it's filled. RGIII - former Baylor and now Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin - has pointed to the Rent as one of the most boisterous atmospheres he played in during his college days. That's a huge hat-tip and compliment to UConn fans. If the Huskies win Saturday, it could very well set the tone for the season. It will surely set the tone for next week's game at Maryland, another ACC school led by former UConn coach Randy Edsall.
