The Hartford Colonials will open their season on Saturday, Sept. 18, when they host the Sacramento Mountain Lions at Rentschler Field.
The United Football League released the eight-game schedule Thursday morning. The Colonials relocated to Hartford from New York after the league's inaugural season.
After opening against Sacramento, the Colonials visit expansion Omaha on Friday, Sept. 24. Hartford has a bye week before playing two home games: Saturday, Oct. 9th against Florida and Saturday, Oct. 16 against Omaha.
The Colonials close out October with two road games (at Las Vegas on Oct. 23 and at Sacramento on Oct. 30). After another bye week, The Colonials visit Florida on Nov. 11 and end the season by hosting defending UFL champion Las Vegas on Saturday, Nov. 20.
The league's second season begins with a rematch of the 2009 championship game: Florida at Las Vegas on Sept. 17.
