Joe Tanzi of New Britain's Urban Oaks Organic Farm in New Britain, growers of organic, heirloom and specialty crops, sorts Physalis, or groundcherries, Thursday afternoon. They are sold at the farm for $15 a pound. The fruit is also called Golden Strawberry or Chinese Lantern and can be used in salads and desserts, among other ways.
