Name: Global Spectrum Headquarters: Philadelphia Résumé: Global Spectrum was created in 2000 when Comcast Corp. purchased a majority interest in Globe Facility Services of Tampa, Fla. Globe Facility Services managed seven venues but in an aggressive expansion, the roster of managed venue swelled to over 100 worldwide. Local connection: Global Spectrum¿s head of business development, Frank E. Russo Jr., is based in Glastonbury, and is the former executive director of the Hartford Civic Center, serving from its opening in 1975 to 1983. Later, he served as vice president of sales for New York City-based Ogden Entertainment, which managed 70 venues. He joined Global Spectrum at its founding in 2000.
