5th Annual First Night Torrington
Main Street, (Downtown), Torrington. An alcohol-free celebration of the arts set for New Year's Eve. Afternoon family activities. "Stand-Up & Count Down!", Waterbury
Annual New Year's Eve Comedy Show at the Seven Angels Theatre where comedians direct from New York City's comedy club circuits will cause an uproar as the clock counts down to midnight. Ttwo shows--at 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Headliner J.J. Ramirez, Sherry Davey, Tom Pecora, Peter Fogel. Also featuring jazz standards and contemporary songs by WATR 1320AM Radio Host Tom Chute with special guest Joyce Follo. The ticket prices range from $38 to $60. Sleeping Giant New Year's Day Hike, Hamden
The Sleeping Giant Park Association invites you to join us in starting the new year "on the right foot," on our New Year's Day Hike. The hike is free and is open to the public. Meet at the bulletin board by the park entrance at 1:30pm. We will hike for approximately 3 hours, depending on the weather. Dress warmly, and wear comfortable and supportive shoes.
