Day 16: Tony is tempted by good times, hot music and drive-through tacos.

After the bar, after the hugs, after the plans to rejoin in Vegas, etc., after the getting in the car, there it was: the Jack in the Box sign.

How good would two tacos taste right now?

Temptation avoided ... for the night.

Granola bar was discovered in the passenger's seat and ravished on the way home, however.

I disagree with the low-carb solution...there are good carbs and bad carbs...carbs are not only necessary but need to be a big part of your diet...everybody I know who has gone the low-carb way has had the hardest time keeping it off after initial success...a doctor told me that the reason for this is because our bodies depend so much on carbs that when we are deprived of them, the moment we intake them, our bodies devour the carbs and hold on to them for dear life...the best thing to do is watch your calorie intake compared to the exercise you perform...every single person who counts cals and exercises accordingly will lose weight and keep it off as long as they don't let go of the principals that got them there in the first place...and you can enjoy a night out with friends and go nuts if you want to...as long as it doesn't become a habit...I've cut down to once a month and it works great...I use the Lose It! app on the iPhone and I love it...so eat cheeseburgers, with buns...I do...just not all the time...plan your 'indiscretions' and you will be fine...
