Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann sell Pacific Palisades home
Judd Apatow and his wife, Leslie Mann, have sold their Pacific Palisades home for $5.26 million, the Multiple Listing Service shows.
The traditional house sits behind gates on nearly an acre at the end of a cul-de-sac. Built in 1997, the 6,000-square-foot home evokes an older period with its wood-paneled library with a fireplace and secret room. In addition to the five bedrooms and 51/2 bathrooms, there is a family room, a playroom and a butler’s pantry with a temperature-controlled wine room. The wooded grounds include a swimming pool with spa.
Apatow, 42, started as a standup comic before writing for television shows, including “The Larry Sanders Show” (1993-98) and “Freaks and Geeks” (1999-2000). He wrote and directed “The 40 Year Old Virgin” (2005), and he has story and producing credits on “Pineapple Express” (2008).
Mann, 38, starred in “17 Again” (2009), “Funny People” (2009) and “Knocked Up,” which Apatow also wrote and directed.
David Offer of Prudential California, Brentwood, had the listing, according to the MLS, while Marci Baron of Teles Properties, Brentwood, represented the buyer.
