Duquette glassed in this porch for producer David O. Selznick and his wife, actress Jennifer Jones, to use as a dining room. The black-and-white tile floors complement the weathered look of the ceiling and posts, around which he built room-length banquettes. A mirrored wall opposite the window brought the view outdoors inside. "The Selznicks would line the room with small tables for four or six and have guests sit on the banquettes or folding chairs," Wilkinson writes. "People said the experience was magical."
