That lived-in feeling

T.C. Boyle and his sons Spencer, left, and Milo relax in the family room. Boyle likes to remind visitors that the house is a completely functional space, not a museum to its famous architect. Frank Lloyd Wright never visited this site before drawing the plans in 1909, but saw it nearly 50 years later on a trip through Southern California.
