Former safety Tebucky Jones played in the NFL for eight seasons and three teams over his career, most notably with the New England Patriots, the team he played with from 1998 to 2002. In 109 career games with the Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins, Jones had 292 tackles and six interceptions. Jones was part of the Patriots' first-ever championship team in 2002 when New England upset St. Louis in Super Bowl XXXVI. He started 12 regular season games for the Patriots that year. He was a star football player for New Britain High School, where he was named Connecticut State Player of the Year by USA Today. He went to Syracuse and was taken in the first round of the 1998 draft with the 22nd overall pick.
