( UGC / December 11, 2012 ) The American Heart Association recently held its annual Hartford Heart Walk at Rentschler Field with over 2,000 supporters, survivors and volunteers. The benefit walk raised over $300,000 to fight heart disease and stroke - the No. 1 and No. 4 killer in the U.S. During the event, five individuals from Connecticut were recognized with the 2012 Hartford Lifestyle Change Award for their inspiring and life changing improvements.
