Christmas Eve In Newtown

Erik Johannsen of Dover, Md., stopped by the Newtown Town Hall to place a bunch of stuffed animals on a memorial created to honor the 26 women and children killed Dec. 14 at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Johannsen, a member of the Air Force in Dover and a volunteer firefighter, stopped on his way to New Hampshire to be with family on Christmas Eve. The stuffed animals were collected on the base.
