Marisa Moseley, former Minnesota assistant coach, has been hired by <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000152" title="University of Connecticut" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/university-of-connecticut-OREDU0000152.topic">UConn</a> coach <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PESPT008432" title="Geno Auriemma" href="/topic/sports/basketball/geno-auriemma-PESPT008432.topic">Geno Auriemma</a> to fill the vacancy on his staff that opened up when <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="hpa1804" title="Jamelle Elliott" href="/topic/sports/jamelle-elliott-hpa1804.topic">Jamelle Elliott</a> was hired as head coach at Cincinnati. According to the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000128" title="Minnesota Golden Gophers" href="/topic/sports/college-sports/minnesota-golden-gophers-ORSPT000128.topic">Golden Gophers</a> website, Moseley coached the post players and played an active role in recruiting and scouting efforts during her two years at Minnesota.
