Rev. Kathleen Adams-Shepherd, the priest of Trinity Episcopal Church, spoke to the congregation and let them know that she had spent her day with the families of those with ties to the school and waiting to hear from authorities the identities of those who died. When she announced the congregation had lost two in the shooting, prayers, cries and sighs were heard in the church. After the service, members of the community left the service and consoled each other as they left.
