Lucas DaSilva, 17, of Danbury, offers a prayer with his mother, Kelly and brother, Michael, 14, after paying their respects at a makeshift memorial near Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown where 26 people, including 20 children, were killed Friday morning. The DaSilvas lived in Newtown for many years, before moving to Danbury a few years ago. They have connections to several of the victims of the massacre.
