Bridge out in Cornwall

A section of bridge on Lower River Rd. in West <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100203060000" title="Cornwall" href="/topic/us/connecticut/litchfield-county/cornwall-PLGEO100100203060000.topic">Cornwall</a>, fell into the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="HPL8" title="Housatonic River" href="/topic/travel/housatonic-river-HPL8.topic">Housatonic River</a>, Sunday morning, while crews were trying to remove a tree that was causing a blockage in a stream running under it. Mark Hamilton, a member of the ambulance crew, left, and Cornwall First Selectman, Gordon Ridgway, work to secure the area.
