From left, Bill Soracin, 67, of Sandy Hook, holds Mark Kline, 38, of Mexico, New York while his son Mark Soracin, 42, of Bethlehem reaches out for Kline in a sit-down water ski during the Connecticut Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports Project day at Batterson Park in Farmington Friday August 14, 2009. The Soracins volunteer with Leaps of Faith, a non-profit organization out of Sandy Hook trains waterskiers with disabilities, helped out with water sports activites. Kline was in the Army at 23 when he got sick with Wilson's Disease, a rare genetic condition. He uses a wheelchair to get around but was able to use the sit-down ski and eventually stand up on skis using a boom pole attached to the boat.
