The lawyer for Annie Le's parents, Joe Tacopina, says that justice was served and that Le's mother did not come to today's hearing because she knew details of the crime would be recounted. "Listening to the details would have been excruciatingly painful for her," he said. Raymond Clark pleaded guilty to the September 2009 slaying of Yale doctoral student Annie Le. Clark is expected to be sentenced to 44 years in prison on May 20.
