My wife Catherine and I stole away on October 15 in our sailboat Spiritus and sailed north on the Connecticut River from our marina in Deep River. The late afternoon sun caught this view of the stately Goodspeed Opera House nestled in the hills of East Haddam. The vista begged to be preserved." |
