We did not expect to see much but thankfully were very wrong. We spotted bald eagles, osprey, seals, sea lions sea otters and humpback whales as our tour boat captain gave an ongoing narrative. The two-hour trip turned into a very busy one, with all there was to see. This particular photo is of a humpback whale in the process of jumping out of the water. We were told by our captain that such jumping was not common in Alaskan waters and that we were very fortunate to have captured our photo."
