"In 2006, I took my then 14-year-old niece Amy Rustemeyer white water rafting down the Colorado River for 13 days through the Grand Canyon. We camped by the river each night. Several days we did hikes up side canyons. One beautiful hike - my favorite - was up Havasu canyon all the way to the Havasupai Reservation. Amy had fun runing through a waterfall to continue the hike to an underwater cave. One of our guides, Cliff, showed us how easy and fun it was to jump down the waterfall to Elves Chasm, another beautful hike that ended at this waterfall. All of it was truely spectacular scenery which you truly can't appreciate unless you're right there down init. Even though this was my third trip, I'm planning to go again at least one more time."
