Hinske broke into the big leagues in 2002 with the Blue Jays. He also had his best statistical season that year, hitting .279 with 24 home runs and 84 RBI. His 38 doubles were 10th-most in all of baseball that year, as well. Those numbers helped him win the 2002 American League Rookie of the Year award.
